LittleGuard Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the LittleGuard mobile application ("the App"), operated by EVOQUICK PRIVATE LIMITED ("EvoQuick", "we", "our", or "us"). LittleGuard is a preschool and daycare management app used by school administrators, teachers, and parents to manage attendance, activities, messaging, and child pickup.

The App is intended for use by adults only (school staff and parents). Children do not directly use the App. However, the App stores information about children, which is provided and managed by authorised adults. This policy explains how we handle that information.

2. Who Uses the App

• School Administrators: Manage the school, staff, classrooms, and student records.
• Teachers: Record attendance, post activity updates, and message parents.
• Parents/Guardians: View their child's attendance, activities, and communicate with teachers.

3. Information We Collect

Adult user information (parents, teachers, admins):

• Name, mobile number, and email address
• Login credentials (password, stored securely encrypted)
• Profile photo (optional)
• Device push-notification token (for sending notifications)

Children's information (provided by school staff and parents):

• Child's name, date of birth, gender, and classroom
• Profile photo and activity photos shared by teachers
• Attendance records (check-in / check-out times)
• Health and dietary information (optional, entered by parents)
• Emergency contact and authorised pickup person details

4. App Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions, used only for the stated purpose:

• Camera: To let teachers take activity photos and parents capture pickup-person photos. The camera is never accessed without your action.
• Photos / Media: To let you select existing images from your gallery to upload as profile or activity photos.
• Notifications: To send you push notifications about check-ins, messages, announcements, and pickup approvals.

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time through your device settings.

5. How We Use Information

• To provide attendance tracking, activity sharing, and messaging between teachers and parents
• To send notifications relevant to your child or your role
• To verify authorised pickup persons for child safety
• To maintain school records as required by the school
• To secure accounts and prevent unauthorised access

We do not sell, rent, or share children's data or any personal information with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

6. How Information Is Shared

Information within a school is visible only to authorised users of that school:

• A parent can see only their own child's information.
• Teachers and administrators can see information for children in their school.
• Activity photos are visible to the relevant parents (and, where set as school-wide by a teacher, to other parents in the school).

We use trusted service providers to operate the App, bound by confidentiality obligations:

• Cloudflare R2: Secure cloud storage for photos, served through expiring signed links.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): Delivery of push notifications.

7. Data Storage and Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored using strong one-way encryption. Photos are stored on Cloudflare R2 and accessed only through time-limited signed URLs. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

8. Data Retention

We retain a child's data only while they are enrolled at the school and as needed to provide the service. Activity photos are retained for up to 90 days for parent viewing. When a school removes a student, or an account is deleted, the associated data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days, unless a longer period is required by law.

9. Account & Data Deletion

Parents may request deletion of their account and associated data from within the App (Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting their school administrator. School administrators may remove student records directly. You may also email us at support@evoquick.com to request deletion, and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not designed for or directed at children, and children do not create accounts or interact with the App. All children's information is entered and controlled by authorised adults (school staff and parents) for the legitimate purpose of running the preschool. We collect only the minimum information necessary for this purpose.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you or your child
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data, subject to the school's record-keeping needs and legal obligations
• Disable push notifications or revoke device permissions at any time

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
